Turn around and the summer is already half over!

We can hardly keep up with our summer this year! Holy crap! Busy running here and there every other day it seems. I don't think we have been home one weekend yet, well..maybe one. And it doesn't look like it's going to slow down until September so far. Geesh! Fun fun fun tho!

We started off Memorial weekend picking Kayden up in Utah, then headed to Idaho Falls to hang out with Jodi's family...
Nick and Kayden just after arriving at Jason's house...

...then went to Yellowstone. Nick and Kayden had never been there, so we had to show them what it's all about. They loved it and want to go back sometime. We only had a few hours to play there tho, so we just went into Old Faithful and back out.
Buffalo cross the road all the time up there, they are always traffic stoppers. It was such a nice day that day...perfect! Not too cold, not too hot.Nick loves this picture. It is of a hot pot along the way to Old Faithful.
The fam...Jessie, Leesie, Kayden, Maddie, Nick, Dad, Mom...and of course, I was the one taking the picture...as usual...it appears that I am never at any of these events...lol
The famous Old Faithful geyser, spewing boiling hot water from the ground. It is quite a sight.
Then we headed up to Darby, Montana to play the rest of the weekend with Nick's friends. Shawn's mom and step dad own a resort up there with cabins. We each got our own little cabin to stay in, and rode four wheelers, played sports (um, I suck at those, ask anyone), went fishing, took the kids to the hot tub, chased little kids around...it was great fun. The kids had a good time too. Lots of other kids to play with and lots of fun to have. It was a great getaway.
Maddie and Treyton riding in her barbie car...they got pretty muddy on that trip, but they had so much fun.
The kids all in the hot tub...Abbey, Tesa, Leesie, Malorie, Dawson, and Kayden. Maddie and mommy above the river where the hot tub sets. She was too little to get in with the bigger kids, but somebody had to supervise them...Maddie did a good job...lol
Nick taking the kids for a 4 wheeler ride. Everyone hanging out...it was bright and early that morning, and cold, and a few of our friends MIGHT have had hangovers...not mentioning any names...lol
Kayden got to drive the 4-wheeler for the first time all by himself. He did pretty good.
The girls took off on the toys, and left the boys in our dust. Good times!!!
